ABOUt
Geologise Theatre specialise in original musical theatre shows for young people and families, exploring themes of earth science, climate change and the environment.
Their first touring production, Chrissie and the Skiddle Witch, travelled to schools and community venues across England and Wales in 2025 after a run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2023. The show featured in British Theatre Guide's Reviewers' Picks of 2023.

Meet the team
The duo behind Geologise Theatre are Dr Roberta Wilkinson and Dr Matthew Kemp. They are writers, performers, and scientists. Matthew, a bassoonist, pianist, and experienced accompanist, is Geologise Theatre's musical director. Roberta is Geologise Theatre's script writer. They both hold PhDs in Earth Sciences.
WORKSHOPS
Geologise Theatre offer creative workshops for schools and youth organisations, which combine science, storytelling, and music to explore topics such as climate change, the environment, and earth sciences.
